Dr. Bernstein is a Connecticut native, born and raised in Fairfield, CT.  She is Fellowship Trained in Hip and Knee Replacement from NYU Langone Orthopaedic Hospital and the prestigious Insall Scott Kelly Institute.  She did her residency training in orthopaedics at the University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Bernstein went to Cornell University for undergraduate studies and the University of Connecticut for medical school.
